Win Your Wife Back

For some people, it can be easy to move on to someone else after a divorce.  For others, they may not be so sure that divorce is the right thing, so they decide to wait a while.  If your not the one who wanted the divorce, you’re probably wondering what you can do to win your wife back.  Under any other circumstance, this might not be such a difficult task, but since another person is in the picture, getting back together with your ex wife might prove to be a little bit more of a challenge.

The time she spends with this new boyfriend is going to be more exciting and fun than the time she spent with you just before the divorce or separation.  The thing is, all this newness and excitement is going to wear off and she’ll be left who this guy really is.

For a little while she’ll like the attention, the flattery and the compliments.  She may even be spoiled a little and this can be especially difficult to compete with, but the best thing for you to do is to take advantage of something that he doesn’t have… and that would be a history with her.  Yeah, I know, she may not think of that history with fond memories, especially the most recent, but most of it is good and some even a bit nostalgic.

The key is to be happy and cheerful whenever you have to opportunity to be around her.  Be kind and generous to her and give her the chance to do the same.  However, don’t act desperate, especially in public… this is not in your best interest.  She’ll most likely remember all the good time the two of you had if she sees you happy and confident, and she’ll probably even start missing you a little bit. 

Show her that you’re OK with the divorce and that you’re willing to move on, but leave the door open for the two of you getting back together.  Doing this will most likely leave her feeling a bit confused and wondering if you’re moving on as well.  This will seem mysterious to her and even a little bit exciting.

Try to cross paths with her every once in a while… especially if things are going great for you.  Just make sure that it appears normal and not like your trying to control her.

Keep in mind that you may also need to get the approval of her friend, her family, co-workers, or anyone else that are close to her.  Give them good reasons to like you and casually remind them of your good qualities.  If there’s any bad blood between you and anyone in her circle of influence, you will want to bury the hatchet and renew those relationships if you can.  Those people can do you a lot of good and even actively work on helping you win your wife back.
